I have run the mach 1's and 275's. Went back and forth trying to make the final choice. Settled on the 275's for better overall drivability. The M1's ran a little hotter (due to more power, and were more responsive) but raised the idle higher that I cared for which essentially degraded the effectiveness of the exhaust brake, but do give more power and make it feel more "racey" to where the 275's feel more natural for the truck In My opinion only.
Phil, I'm a little confused.

None of the injectors I've run (stock, Mach 1. 5 & 3. 8) have changed my idle in the least. That is controlled by the ECM. I know a larger injector CAN create more heat but one does not need to use it all. I've found egt's easily controlled with my right foot. My milage improved about 1-2 with the 1. 5's & was not changed when I went to the 3. 8's. Again, it's all in the right foot.
