I read all the normal ? on EZ,now here is one I have not seen.

If all things were equal(same equipment and conditions) what would be the RPM with or without the EZ at the same MPH.

for example: without EZ 2000 rpm/70 mph

with EZ ? rpm/70 mph

thanks for any input

That Depends on Your Clutch!!

Since you haven't changed mechanical gear ratios or tire sizes, RPM's at 70 MPH would not change with the EZ - unless, of course, your clutch were going away!! :D

Thanks for the responce

***Keep in mind all elements are equal***

If you add more HP and Torque wouldn't it take less effort to push the truck to the same ? mph??

Which in turn would require less RPM

More input please

thanks

mike

Yep, but the RPM's will still be 2000 at 70 MPH. That's determined by gear ratio and tire size - you have a direct mechanical connection between the engine and the road, and you haven't changed that. You just won't be pushing the accelerator pedal down as far to hold a constant speed. :D
