Shawn, Performance Diesel recommends that combo as a no egt fear package. All the feedback I have is all good. The two components peak at different rpm levels so there isn't a huge volume of fuel at any one point. It's a sweet combo for those that tow IMO.
Just to add to what Nowel said, the timing piece of the EZ also helps with keeping the EGT's in check. This combo should be no problem with the stock turbo and exhaust.
I have a 2001 ETH... yes I know they run on the warm side stock.
with my 275's and Puck and 28 psi of boost I can get it hot (1150/1200) if I am not careful... . I was pushing more boost, but I was also pushing the turbo out of it's map. While my EGT is still safe, I strongly recommend a Pyro anytime you start BOMBing.
