my understanding is that it "masked" those codes from the ecm to allow it to overboost thus overfueling. so if it is working right then the ecm would not see them.

The EZ box, if installed correctly, will not leave any trouble codes in the ecm. The only way an over boost code is set is if the map sesnor sees over 21 psi. The EZ (and PE box for that matter) plug in between the map sensor and the ecm and limit the voltage to the ecm from the map sensor.

So basically what you guys are telling me is the EZ box is a "Stealth" unit #ad

That sounds great! What about the 275 injectors, any way for the Power Police to bust me on this one with the box?

I hooked up to my snap on scanner on a 24v with an ez box and a pe, and I didnt pull a code, but the scanner displayed "you are screwed"

Does the EZ box leave any kind of "footprint" on the ECU? If I understand my tech at the garage correctly an over boost or over fuel sistuation will leave a code in the ECU and could get me busted. Is this true.

I believe that the only thing that can cause an "overboost code" to be set is the MAP sensor. The EZ comes with a boost module built in and will negate this possibility if it is installed correctly. The boost module plugs in between the MAP sensor and the computer and prevents the computer from "seeing" a signal from the MAP sensor that is out of range.

Not sure about the over fuel situation you mentioned.

Amechanic that is famaliar with how these trucks run as delivered from dodge might be able to tell that you have done "something" to it if he/she has to drive it. Other than taking the valve cover off and pulling an injector to cross-check part numbers there is no way to tell if the injectors are stock or not.

the only way they will see an overfueling code is with a box that pierces the pump wire after the electronics , the EZ going pre- electronics should not throw anything , like the VA .

as far as the injectors , they will be able to tell on a test drive , but it can be masked with the TC and VB swap as you can just say that is what is causing the power surge , better TC efficency . you could always get a set of stealth DD1's , more power and if they pull on it will have the correct part number , make them prove you changed injectors , they won't be able to ...

or another way for example is "Mopars1" he works in the service department at the dealer I bought my truck from, and he could just take a look at your signature here, and watch your face turn red.
