EZ for 03 HO ?

I have had it with my quadzilla box,how are the edge EZ boxes working with the o3s?

I'd recommend the TS MP-8 instead. It will give you in-cab adjustability, which the EZ will not.



I hear the Juice w/ Attitude is sweet if you want an Edge box.

Adjustable is the best way to go, but if yo just want a little bit then the EZ is a great little box. I love my TST, but its a little more involved to install. Bottom line is what are you lookiing for in a box and how much do you want to spend? I started out with an EZ and quickly needed more power. Hope this helps!

Yeah, what's wrong with the quad? Any problems I've seen have been fixed with dielectric grease, or a new wiring harness when you send it back. Quad took care of me pretty well. Have you given them a chance?

The Ez sure wakes up the 03HO. Plus you can't beat the 5 minute installation.

Don't want to trash talk Quad,They were a help with my problems but 3 strikes and its out of my truck.

First I had a once and a while surging problem. sent it back it was a bad switch,then about two weeks later it would act up and run rough threw a few codes. called quad they said to use dilectric grease. that seemed to work.

Then installed CB and keyed mike and truck died. Drove me nuts for a day going over all my connections ,then disconected box and cb worked fine.

called quad they said it happens use these magnet filter things from radio shack. it helped truck would now run rough when mike was keyed. back to the shack for more of those things after spending 30. 00 on these things it helped but no cure.

Then yesterday driving home from work truck started to buck pulled over ripped box out and truck was fine.

strike 4 sick of playing with this,had a comp box in my 98. 5 and never had a problem.

I kept the Q box on 60 hp setting and that was good enough for me. that is why I thought about the EZ

If you're just after a 60-70 HP gain the EZ will do you just fine, you might also consider the van Aaken 3. 1 same HP gains and saves you a few dollars too. If you have any questions call us, we'll be glad to help.

I previously owned the EZ and recently purchased the Juice w/Attitude. The compliment of gauges, in-cab adjustability, and more lower RPM power were all nice points..... I previously ran 336/665 w/EZ and recently dyno'ed 368/718 with the Juice w/Attitude. The Juice w/Attitude for the 305/555 trucks is rated at 125 RWHP... . mine delivered 124 RWHP.

TASK125: I just installed the VA 3. 1 on mine and three words for you, "oh-my-gawd". Easy installation and very nice wake up call. I got mine from Dominator Diesel (SLJOLLEY). They took great care of me.

who makes the TS MP-8? Never heard of it. How much powere does it make? Thanks, Doc

Task125, I just took out my ez and installed a juice w/attitude. The only reason I changed it out was I wanted the egt backdown, and the trans slippage backdown. I tow a 36' fifth wheel trailer. EZ is listed in classifieds if you are interested.
