Does anybody know the settings for the plus? I want to run it as a regular EZ without the pump wire installed for now. Also where is everbody mounting the unit under the hood. I think the edge people should be giving us more info on the product. I was disappointed with the lack of spec's.

Thanks, Jeff

Which unit did you purchase? I'm not aware of the "EZ plus" box.

If you had an EZ, you'd want to mount it on the Power distribution box cover with velcro.

Yea it's the edge EZ plus. I'd just like to know what the settings are if i don't hookup the pump wire. It has 4 power level and 4 boost level settings. Any help?

Everybody's right!

The manual that comes with the Pulse refers to it as an EZ Plus... . I think Edge's marketing division got a little more creative between printing the directions and promoting the product! :D

If you don't hook up the pump wire Jeff you'll get the same results as an EZ-only with 4 choices for smoke control instead of 3. Factory default will be for most aggressive-your manual shows you how to configure the jumpers to make the box less aggressive. The power settings that are shown to you in the book aren't applicable without connecting the wire-except the lowest power setting which being a BOMBer at heart you won't want to investigate! :)

Mount it with the supplied Velcro right up on top of the power distribution centre (that black-lidded box right behind the battery on the driver's side containing a bunch of really important fuses).

HTH-any more ?'s fire away.

So Jason if i set it on the first power setting its the same as the EZ and the other three settings are used with the pump wire hooked up?

Is the default setting level 4 Jeff? You can leave it on there and it won't do anything bad to it... ... just no more power without the pump wire. If you're gonna move the jumpers you want at least level 2... ...
