I was told you can adjust the settings on the EZ, ok, WHERE???.

There are absolutley no plugs, switches, knobs or openings ANYWHERE on the EZ box. Just 2 hex head screws on each end and the wires coming out one end. I have a 2001 ISB if it makes a differeance.

Help?

Remove the allen screws from the end cap. Remove cap and you will see a jumper. One end is #1 setting (timing only), Middle setting is #2 (timing and added fuel above 20 psi boost) and the other end is setting #3 (timing and added fuel above 2 psi boost) this is where I liked to drive my truck. Now its sold and awaiting the Comp box. Sam

Unless Edge has changed it, Dawg listed the setting for the Diesel Dynamics TTPM (made by Edge). But the setting on the EZ are different.

The setting closest to the middle of the box (#1) is max fueling at 20psi, the middle (#2) is max at 15psi, and the setting closest to the outside of box (#3) is max at 10psi. All settings have the same timing.

Yep- what TxRam said ^^ for the settings.

The Edge is set up for the same timing in all settings. The fueling boost is the same amount in all settings, you just change WHEN the boost happens.

Take off the end plate opposite the cable, and you'll see the circuit board with the jumper pins.

With the circuit board oriented BELOW the pins, when the little black jumper box is pulled off the pins and reinstalled on the farthest two pins to the left that's minimum setting. (fuel boost maxes at 20 psi air boost) Farthest two pins right is maximum setting (fuel maxes at 10 psi air boost).

You're gonna LOVE that little black box! ;)

Road ranger outlined it well the setting are 1 to 3 left to right or from the bottom of the Edge logo to the top of it. The only reason I am posting is the boost numbers being listed are not what I have read or observed on my truck. I think the EZ settings are 1=20psi, 2=10psi,3=3psi on the DD version 1=no fuel increase and I am not sure about the rest but there have been some pretty good treads in the past that outline all the settings and differences between the two versions of the EZ.

Thanks for the info, now i know HOW to set it, but my next question is WHAT do i set it for?. As mentioned, i have an 01'QC 4x4 SB with the Automatic Trans and 3. 54 gears. The trans is completley stock.

Aside from a K&N and 4" exhast, the truck is stock (No injectors). I never tow anything or haul anything.

What setting would give the most all around power and at the same time do the least amount of damage to my stock trannie?

You can go all the way on the 3rd setting and be ok. That is the one farthest to the right. It will most likely be set there anyways from the way it comes from Power Edge.

IMO, leave it at the factory, 3, setting. The other two settings are mostly for smoke control with hotter injectors.

I'm at sea level. Based on what I'd read on the TDR I thought for sure I'd have to go to setting 2 or 1 when the DD2's went in. On setting 3 I get some smoke with low boost, but not even enough to pi## off the most radical snail-darter crowd..... don't know about you poor Texas guys with your tattle-tail program.

I know you'll eventually get to injectors ;) so when you do you can experiment with the settings if the smoke is an issue for you. BTW, the DTT, EZ, and DD2 combo is way cool.
