Has anyone figured out how to install a switch that would let u turn the EZ off or on from a switch in the cab?? Thought it would be nice to have in case trans. starts slipping with a heavy load & I'm not the one drivin. Could be handy, if its not too much trouble to rig up.

Somewhat.......

I can switch between 1 and 3. You get the power either way just at different boost levels. I can't see turning it all the way off as you'd probably set boost codes if you have your waste gate modified.

If your trans is slipping get it upgraded or fixed. If you upgrade you'll finally find out where all the power went in the first place.

If you ever did want to remove the Edge EZ on the road and go back to stock, it is very easy to do as it just plugs in. Virtually no tools required and you could drive it without removing the boost elbow. The other option is, If you do not already have the EZ, you could get the Comp which has adjustable power levels from the cab.

If your concern is the automatic transmission, Banks makes a system called OttoMind TLC(Torque Limiting Calibration) which shapes limits the torque curve to comply with drive train capacity. This system also features what they call Power Adjusted Lock-up (PAL). This system momentarily reduces power to stock levels during torque converter lock-up. They say this helps retain the factory life expectancy of the torque converter and transmission.
