couple of questions...

First, I am running the EZ with the Smarty right now. If i change over to the comp, am i going to see a night and day difference or is it going to feel a little stronger? I dont know anyone with this combo locally to have a test drive so i am looking for advice.

Second, has anyone purchased one of these comp boxes from this E-Bay seller? It appears that they are new items but they are 200. 00 less than new! Kindof makes you wonder... .

Thanks for your help... .

Chris

Night and day after you tap the pump for the comp. I don't take my Smarty off #2 unless I'm taking someone for a ride.

in short yes! you can feel every level. I acually just sold my comp on ebay. pending some injectors and a possible hrvp. you will be happy! I just hope your trans/clutch is good

With the Smarty and Edge-Comp both on and the pump wire tapped, make sure you have some money set aside for your transmission upgrade. ;)

Very nice with 5 levels to pick from on the fly. :) :D

Already on the Phone With Dave Goerand for the trans upgrade... .

I am also kickin round the idea of selling this one and steppin into a third gen. Not sure which direction i want to go. All the cash for the trans, comp and probably a turbo upgrade makes a good down payment for a 3rd gen... Any thoughts? The better half is ok with either direction i go... ... ... ... ...

That monthly payment could build one hell of a 2nd gen too. I don't think it makes sense to go under the knife with a payment when you won't really be getting that much more. 3 years from now the 3rd gen won't be worth much. Put your money into the turbo & transmission... You'll be happy that you did. Then get a big diamond for the better half for being so great by letting you chose. Just my $. 02.

Thats what my thinking was. That also leaves some money free for the 40' x 60' that i want to put up... Oh yea, I was suppose to buy the wife a diamond ... Thanks for the input!

With the cost of a new truck in the 40's with bells and whistles it makes allot more sense to take care of the one you already have and build to your satification and use the money saved to pay off your mortgage.

Pay off the house and then you have better ability for true enjoyment of your hard earned cash ;)
