EZDown question

I can't seem to open the video on the install, I'm wondering where to shrink the heat shrink, and where does this foam sleeve go ? It looks like it goes over the cable, and there's a cable tie, I guess to hold it in place. I do hope the cable develops the memory I read about in the forum, I did a search, it's aggravating that it wants to get jammed between the body and the damper tube. My crew will screw that up every time. Thanks for any help.

This is where I put mine, the cable still ocasionally gets caught between the tailight and and tailgate, I just keep my eye on it when I close it.

Thanks for that, just went out to look at it again and saw the bolt on the tailgate end was loose, turns out I GO-rilla-ed it and broke the little aluminum piece that goes into the tailgate. Sheesh, I'll have to see if I can get one of those now. I like how the rig works. It seems to me that little piece ought to be stouter stuff, tho, and not aluminum, altho that's easiest to machine. Not enough material there for my tastes.
