Head bolt re-torque???

Anyone have a F. A. S. S fuel system on their ' 03 yet. I just ordered mine last week from Jannetty Racing. Anyone running one of these or had experience with one please respond.

I seen one installed on a 2000 powerstroke. I was impressed. According to the owner it made the truck pull harder. It sure made it quieter too! Let us know how it goes!

I'm curious how loud the pump is. And I'd like to see a smaller-micron filter included (2 micron or less). But it is a nice setup!

The pump is not load at all. I can't here it running when I first turn the key on before I start the engine with the windows up. You can hardley hear it with the windows down and your head out the window and forget it with the engine running.

I saw a guy with one on his '03 and he loved it. I've got one on my '99 and I have to partially disagree with what was said before. You can DEFINITELY hear the pump kick on when you've got the ignition on, before you crank the motor. It only runs for about 3 seconds, so it's not a big deal. Once the engine is running, forget about it... especially with stacks :D

My 2 cents.

My OEM lift pump was louder than my FASS.

In fact I like it, because w/o the OEM lift pump noise, there is less noise coming from the motor area.

Cant hear the FASS while driving.

I'd like to see pictures of the FASS mounted on a 3g. I think it mounts where my running board brackets currently are but I'm nor sure. Anybody help me out?

NPloysa,

PDR sales them, check out their web site at PDR . Also if you don't have a fuel pressure gage get one. My original lift pump was dropping to about 5 psi and I replaced it at about 35K, my VP44 took a dump this past Sunday with just under 90K. So for the last 55K I've been running on borrowed time. Bob at PDR said that by time you see 5 psi the damage has already been done.

Well, I am on my 2nd LP. I replaced the first around 70K and have just over 100K on the truck now. Last time I checked with a manual guage I had 14-15 idle and 9 WOT but I need to check that again.

The first one failed before I put my FMS on and was seeing 7 idle, on and off, like an intermittent pulse. I replaced it with the second and it has about 30K on it.

Puttin' it on the '04 tomorrow morning. I'll try to post some pics... if I can figure it out  . Also, got my call from TST today and the PMCR will be here early next week. They said the box is still setting off codes, but when they figure it out, just send the box back and the'll reprogram it.
