may issue of car craft pg 81 has an exploded view of and a good discussion on the gear type limited slip in our third gens



i'm probably the only one on here that thinks this is an improvement over the dana clutch limited slips



especially the loose one in the later dana 80s

Nope, I agree too. However, I haven't owned one yet. I do have a Detroit TrueTrac in the front axle of my Jeep and it works very well. Since I don't have manual hubs, I couldn't go full locker without having the hassle of a manual unit like an arb. I love it! All it takes is a little application of the brake to give the slipping wheel enough traction to make a huge difference when I need it. Hopefully the new truck's axle will perform equally as well when it gets here. :D
