Just bought an 85 D-350 dually dumpbed

Anybody check this out yet-www.f650pickups.com

If it didn't have F**d on it, it'd be that much cooler, but if I'm not mistaken I think you can order a f650 with a Cummins, Cat or a PSD from the factory and with different trans. Wish Dodge had a bigger line of trucks, anyway just something interesting for you to look at.

Take off every little thing that resembles a PHURD symbol! fabricate me a 379 Long nose front end, gemme a set of dual 7" Bull Haulers and a Jake for the Kitty!:D

THEN I might take one! :-laf

My thoughts exactly, I'd shave, not just remove, all the blue oval thingys then have new Blue Cummins Cs made and put a billet grille on it (I know someone made one for the f650s cuz I saw one on a black one in a magazine) and deffinately stack the thing 6 or even 8 inch stacks. And I think I'd rather have that in standard trans, more fun shifting.

there are a lot of images here on their site

why the heck did they put on them ugly chromed pimp mirrors? the standard ford towing mirrors look pretty good, but them others with all the steel brackets going into the door [top & bottom] are just plain fugly to me...

now if they want big mirrors on their trucks, why don't they get this style instead???

no ugly metal brackets. much nicer looking mirror style to me...

Wow, I just saw one of these driving up Highway 101 just north of Petaluma. It was red, looked like someone was test driving it. Pretty cool truck, even if it is a Ford.

Looks sharp if money was no object but I think I would rather have a baby Freightliner. Money being an issue, if I wanted something that big to pull things with, I would go bigger and look for a well kept 500k miler tractor like that one the Irv RV site had posted one time.

That black truck looks like the first F650 I saw built like this. It was a custom made 4x4, and it was featured in Fourwheeler 2 years ago? That was cool!

Glamis I think.

A guy I talk to at work knows the guy that built it. It's probably the one your thinking of because this one was built from the ground up.

Unfortunately, the bed rails look too high to tow a 5th wheel - that makes it pretty useless for a huge market! :(

Guess I'll still have to order that little 330 Pete with the B&W towing bed.

Rusty,

I was thinking the same thing. Here's a truck that would obviously pull the biggest 5ver's made if not for the pickup bed getting in the way. Makes me wonder what the marketing folks were thinking.
