Cool! I was watching a Discovery Wings program that talked about stealth. Stealth aircraft will probably not make it to carriers, at least not for a while. Seems that the tail hook is very hard to hide from radar!



When the JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) was built they tried to adapt it for carriers. When the Navy looked at the relocated tail hook they said no, they will stick with the F/A-18s, proven with a good track record, haha.
