Well got the old girl back Thursday, and spent the rest of the day and part of today putting her all back together. What a difference the new color makes, looks super sharp !:D :D :D I will have some photos to post Saturday. Now on the down side, I also spent tonight trying  to install a new 4" exhaust. I spent hours modifying a so call "bolt on" exhaust, and I intend to address this with Rip where I bought this mess. I understand being a crew cab I was going to do some mods, but nothing fits correctly. I will not start flaming Rip, until I talk to him and see what he has to say.

Kyle

I have some left over parts, a set of black trim tail lights, right rear door & a 3" mandrel bent exhaust. I will let this stuff go cheap to TDR members, otherwise I will sell it ebay next week.

Kyle

If it makes you feel any better the exhaust guy that I have been giong to for years spent 2 hours just to install the bolt of exhuast(rip) and that does not include taking the old off. Not complaining but the fit could have been a little better. Although without a $150,000 mandrel bender I will take what I have anyday. Did I mention how good it runs though? It really runs good and looks nice under the truck to.

The 4" exhaust really made a difference, boost is up almost 4psi and EGTs are down some. Turbo lag has been reduce as well as smoke . BUT this thing is going to raddle, there is almost no clearance at the cross member/transfer case( I have less than 1/64 of an inch in some places). I would recommend the upgrade, but keep in mind it will need to be tweaked now and then to keep it from raddling. As for getting the exhaust from Rip, that is another subject, for now all I can say is I am not impressed with the quality of materials or the workmanship. :eek: :{

Dang, Kyle, it's looking downright presentable. I did sort of like the Air Force paint job, though. You may have lost some of the intimidation factor, but it is a very nice color choice.

I am jealous.

I wish I was that far along on mine.

When you get your winch bumper (critter getter)on the front. It looks like you will have a well round package there.

Hey CCD,

Spectacular color :D :D :D

That baby really shines. Hang in with the exhaust, and any other headaches that these ole gal's bring your way, they're worth every knuckle and fingernail. .

Its know as Intense Blue or Brilliant Blue, used in 1997 and a couple other years by Dodge. The paints a little more expensive but I think its worth it ! :D :D

everything I know or have heard of Rip is good news... he has worked his butt off for the Bombers in the NW. he has also made good any issues with his stuff. . so get intouch with him and I'm sure he'll do ya right !!..... very few if any bolt on systems go on without some fitment issues. . my 4" Jardine was a bear to get on also. . the down pipe wasn't going on without some major "discussion" and a little help from the 3 lb persuader. . [Rip wasn't doing 4" systems when I installed mine or I would have his on]

Nice looking truck Kyle.

Looks a lot different then it did at Macomb college.

Hope to get a better look at a up coming event.

ENJOY Frank GLTDR

THAT CREW CAB IS MY DREAM TRUCK... AWESOME!!! I PUT 4" FROM MY TURBO TO MY STACKS... TO GET BY THE TRANSFER CASE I USED STAINLESS FLEX PIPE. ITS WORKING GREAT AND YOU CAN POSITION IT TO GET MORE CLEARANCE WHERE YOU NEED IT. ITS BEEN ON SINCE JANUARY AND IT HASN'T TOUCHED ONCE.

Sweet....!

Great looking ride! It inspires me to think of such a project... .

BTW - I'm an Graduate for Macomb Community College.

KEENO:D
