Can I simply swap out the factory radio/tape/cd headunit and leave the rest of the factory components in place? The CD player is dead and I miss it badly. The speaker grilles say Inifinity so I don't know if there is something special about the headunit.

I'm looking a a Kenwood from crutchfield, if it matters?

Thanks

Chris

If you have the infinity unit that means the front speakers have the amplifiers in them. You can simply replace the head unit and leave the speakers in place, but you cannot replace the speakers and leave the original head unit. I replaced the speakers at the same time as the head unit myself as the infinity speakers are not all that great IMO.
