Maybe the location "on the column" for the sensor is the key to why yours works so well. Do the instructions call to mount it there or leave it up to the installer to pick a spot?6 2 Carl said:I zipped tied my shock sensor to the steering column, and it seems to work well there. I have the sensitivity turned all the way up, and haven't had a false alarm. If I open the tailgate the alarm goes off, and moderate hit to the cab also sets it off as well. I am happy with it.
