Factory Fan CFM

Does anyone know how many cfm a factory cooling fan moves when its fully engauged?

A bunch more than any aftermarket fan out there. Not for sure, but they move LOTS of air. I suppose you could figure it out if you knew the pitch of the blade and the pulley ratio.

:-laf you will never see an OEM publish a spec like that. Do realize if you ditch the stocker on a 3rd gen you will be living with a ck engine light and if you have to take a smog inspection you will fail

IIRC, around 8500 cfm under full engagement is what was considered normal for most of the B engines. Exact numbers are hard to come by.

Thanks guys, Im not ditching my factory one for sure. Just tryin to settle an spirited talk. He said his flexalite moves 10x more air than the factory one and I called bs.
