Factory Fog Light

While on the interstate I put a rock through my passengers side fog light. Does anyone know of a source just for the Lens cover of the fog light or am I gonna have to shell out the money for the whole fog light assembly. And if thats the case, where is the best place to get the assembly.

Check the local dealership bodyshop. That's where I got mine for 10 smackers a piece. When they do bumper replacements and stuff they sometimes have parts that aren't used.

Ive seen complete sets go for well under $100 on ebay. Also if you dont have keyless entry, I have seen the complete unit and two transmitters go for $75 from the guy that sold me a primo Stock 6 disc in dash changer for my truck for $180.

Ebay is the way to go! Oo.

This post will be more of a prevenative thing for your fog lights. I bought a product called stonguard (3m-product)to cover both fogs,they are pre-formed to fit over your current fog lamps. IMHO great product. I had busted a drivers side fog on my 2004,Yikes $110 for replacment. I called stonguard.com for there pre-formed foglight 3m product $19. 95 a set,cheap verses $110 a side. I have been running the stonguard on my truck for about year. No busted fog lamps yet Oo. The stonguard phone is 1-800-350-4897 coobie

Thanks, I will definately be looking into something like that. Do you know if 3M still makes the clear film that goes over the front of vehicles. I was thinking about putting some of that on my lower rear quarter panels to prevent rock chips on the paint.
