I mounted my factory fogs on to my son's 03 SLT. He didn't have the push/pull factory light switch. However, the wiring was there behind the front bumper to plug into.

My question is:

Does he have to purchase a new push/pull headlight switch or is there another way to power the fog lights?

The easiest thing to do is go down and purchase the switch w/ the integrated fog light switch. Plugs right in. I'll go get the part # for you.

Here you go... it's 56045537AC... I bought one of the Mopar accessory factory fog light kits off ebay. The kit comes w/ the lights, mounts and this 12 ft. harness to run from the lights to the dash to switch to ground to battery to all over, etc... . However, the place I bought it from included the factory jumper harness (mounts behind bumper) from the fog lights to the factory plug (already there) and the new headlight switch. Installation took about 15 minutes. Dodge makes it easy.

I bought the factory switch for my PIAAs and used the Dodge harness to fire the relay for the lights, switch cost $36.

If your dealer charges the same as mine, you need to have $46. 00 more plus some tax in your pocket, they quoted me $82. 00. bg
