I couldn't get factory fog lights installed when I ordered the truck, but ordered a factory set from the dealership, put them on & they worked fine. Lately, I started to notice a dark, retangular 1/2" square, spot in the center of each lense. Closer examination revealed a melting, or slight bubbling of the inside surface, right in the center. I guess the bulb must be too hot or too close to the lense? I use these at all times at night, if my headlights are on, usually, so are the fog lights. Anybody else notice it yet?... ... ... DDG

Those are only 35 watt bulbs, or at least the factory lights I looked at were. I installed 85 watt piaa ambers for fog and rain. 35 watts shouldn't be causing any damage.

Nope, they are what ever came with them when I bought the kit, right out of Sunflower Dodge, Olathe, KS. I did have one burn out in Gillete, Wy. last year, but I replaced it with a High $ original Dodge/Mopar bulb

Had to run out and check mine, (bare feet and all) A-OK! Mine have been in use since 96 and I use them for daytime running lights too. Sounds like you got a bad set. Regards,Dave
