Factory Installed Towing Mirrors

Has anyone else experienced a problem with the mirror glass becoming loose? Had to have the stealer replace passenger side right after I got the truck because it wouldn't stay in position and now the driver's side is doing the same thing. Thinking about just replacing them with aftermarket ones but I really like them but I can't keep running to the stealer to have them replaced all the time.

those things are awesome, power adjust, power extend, heated, built in led blinker arrows. the only thing they don't have on them is itty bitty wipers.

The OEM had a bad batch of them a while back. I had both of mine replaced under warranty. No problems since. Even if you are thinking of replacing them, get the bad one replaced under warranty and sell it to one of the members here.

I had to replace the passenger side mirror twice now under warranty. Makes it rather hard to tow your trailer when the mirror keeps moving around... ...

When mine broke, I held the mirror in place with some silicon sealant until they could replace it. I didn't care what it did to the mirror since I knew they were going to replace it anyway.
