Leaving work today my Fuel PSI gauge went to 0, came back to 3-4 for a while and then back to 0. The truck was running fine so I continued to run a couple of errands.
Then sitting at a light on TV Hwy it died. After cranking for a long while about 6 or 7 different times (Poor starter) I got it to run if I kept the RPM's above 3,000 or so. I got the truck into the Dairy queen parking lot by slipping the hell out of the clutch (Poor SB OFE) and put my spare lift pump on. I am sure glad I bought that back in April to carry as a spare. It only took 20-25 minutes to change it and I now have 8 psi again.
