When I replaced the rusted/broken tailgate cables on our 'new' 95 2500 recently, my jaw dropped when I paid $30 apiece for them at the local Dodge dealership. Ditto when I looked into replacing the rusted-out window outer belt weatherstrip... $50! (I know, I know... welcome to Dodge ownership!). So I ran a Google search and found Tenafly Chrysler Jeep Online ( http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213794 ). They seem to have a fairly complete parts catalog online, easy to use, and their prices are half of what my dealership charges ($15 for a tailgate cable, $25 for an outer belt weatherstrip). Of course, shipping will eat up some of that difference, but still, these look like great prices compared to my local dealer.
Anyone familiar with these folks? What's the catch (besides having to wait 5 or 6 days for your parts)?
