I have never really gotten an answer to this, but if my truck doesn't have the crank positioning sensor, how can I install a factory tach? I have seen them in a Non I/C truck, so I know it can be done.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I remember seeing a sticky here about this, but I can't find it now?

I E-Mailed Isspro, to see what they would have to say about it. Hopefully they will be able to help me out.

Anyone here have a factory tach in there '91 or older truck?

I have one in my old 89 truck, I installed it, I have also put a couple in 85 crewcabs using older 89 motors,as well as a early non intercooled 91 truck. You need the complete kit that was designed for the older trucks, it came with a wiring harness, crank sensor ond bolting as well as the Tach. The only thing you then need is the notched vibration damper because the older trucks did not have one.

I have one more kit left, that I was keeping for spare parts. I have tried to find more but nothing, the last ones I got was around 1998.
