tmacc Thanks for posting your DC connection ( Daniel ). My local dealer got the wrong part in again ( bumber brackets instead of tow hook's)! I got tired of dealing with them and decided to call your guy's;they were real helpful and knowledgeable. UPS should be delivering them in a few days--Thanks again,Thomas.

Drilling holes.

We are talking about the cuts out in the air dam, if you have it.

And using a round hole saw to get nice corners.

Thanks for the clarification, Snow King. I had just figured that it was the same problem that some members were reporting awhile back where the frame holes did not align properly with the bracket holes. I too had to round out a small hole in the air dam using a dremel tool.

I would like to know if anyone has the factory tow hooks on their trucks. The only Dodge's that I have seen with them are half ton's with the Off-Road package. The Service Manual shows them for the 2500/3500 but I never saw a place to specify them when I ordered my truck. I want to order them through the dealer but I want to make sure that they will fit the H. D. trucks first.

Thanks in advance,Thomas
Put a set on my 3500 they bolt right with the Dodge Brush Guard if you have the air dam it is marked on the under side where to cut out for the hooks. Gave Dodge about $160 for mine. :D :D

The tow hooks finally got here... ... I think that there is a difference in older versions and newer ones; part # 82204881 has two set's of holes for the position of the hook's ( the picture on Fritz's web page looks like they have just two holes for one position ) . I paid about $110. 00 for the kit and everything fit's perfect. It all look's like nice quality and strong. I recomend putting these on if anyone is thinking about the factory hook's. Only takes about 45 min. install time and they are functional and look great..... Thomas

P. S. Thanks to all who responded and offered input !!!!!

OK, here is another question. I put my hooks on with the hooks turned to the outside. With the air dam turning the hoods to the inside looked like it would be hard to get a strap or rope on them. What did others do, in or out? SNOKING

I had the same ?

SNOW KING I put my hooks on w/the opening's to the outside for the same reason as You. I also used the outer most adj. position of the hook's so they will stick out as much as possible for easier use. Thomas

I faced mine outside as well. I originally had them adjusted out as far as they would go but since I added the SmittyBilt Outland Sport Bumper Guard, I had to put them back to the retracted position.
