Has anyone found a different aftermarket (or Mopar) trailer plug to replace the factory is the 7 prong "RV" plug. We have standarized to the 6 prong Round which is standard on just about any trailer with trailer brakes "Other" then RVs. We don't ever pull RV's.

I know you can get a cheater that plugs into the RV and has a female 6prong.

I have notice that recent Dodges have a factory wiring harness plug just prior to the Factory RV plug.

What I an looking for is an after market product that would plug into DC's factory wiring harness plug but provide a 6 prong round as the trailer plugin, instead of the current RV 7 blade now.

Anyone know if this is available

JJW_ND,

Try Weaver Distributing at 1-800-932-8373, fax at 1-800-329-8693. They are EST so may be gone for the day. Good prices, good service.

Just picked one up last month. Dealer had to order.

I knew about the adapter from 7 RV to 6 round. They work fine! Just want a more permanent solution.

What I would like to do is replace the 7 RV with a 6 round and still plug into the factory wiring harness plug rather then cutting wires and splicing.
