Shovelhead - "ALIVE"

Glad to see you're still among the living. Didn't see you this past weekend. Sorry I didn't call during the 911 ride to NY, but I came from home on Saturday morning straight to the Pentagon, then to NY and back (same day) 640 miles - 22 hours. Boy was I dumb and my butt told me so. See you at MIR.

Fest3r - Glad to see you made it home. Did it give you any more problems on the trip and did it kill you're 15 g/mi you were getting?

No more trouble as yet. No leaks. Cummins Atlantic parts guy gave me a G-8 replacement bolt. I'll try that first, and dremel up the brass fitting. The canister and head were made by Racor. Cummins wants $83 for the canister; Dodge wants over $200.

Mileage seems to have returned to normal again.

Thanks again for giving up your Sunday evening. And please extend my thanks to Ben for his help, too.

I am not sure yet if I will attend. If I do may be only to watch or show the truck. I have had my west coast run eliminated this week and will run wild next week till the seniority bumping falls to me and I get my choice of what to do. I am hoping to stay with similar work days but one never knows... ... . Andy:confused:

I will be there to watch only. I have broken my truck again, and this time it isn't going to be fixed very quickly. I am done.

Blokes, I'll try to be there if Uncle Sam can get me back from being down under. It be good to see you all since the last crabcake lunch when a certain white with a touch of red under neath 2500 showed up.
