Possible Pittsburgh/SW Pa Truck Show???

Unfortunately, I can't attend. I have a family wedding I must attend in Chicago that weekend. It was a tough choice, though. Hang with friends revelling in the soot and camaraderie, or drink and party with family? Alas, the Irish in me was the stronger. :D

Doug, the racing sounds like fun, and friday night works for me. (although a convoy to the track on sunday could be lots of fun too :D ) Where were you thinking, maple grove? I personaly prefer a smaller less crowded track to maple grove so we can get more runs in with less waiting, but mapla grove is nice and close to me so I cant complain.

I'll second the Maple Grove vote for Sunday!!! :)

Maple Grove can be pretty busy thats the reason we rented out Beaver Springs last year. I would be up for trying to get Beaver Springs again if there is enough interest. As for dragging on Sunday Andy and I spoke on this and are concerned about conflicting with the dynoing taking place. We ran into this last year and it was creating some friction for folks that wanted to dyno (and could only be worked in on Sunday) and drag race... ... . Hence the reason we are considering trying for Friday evening.

Well, I would be up for going down the track a few times. As long as there is some place to unhook from the camper.

I thought it was Maple Grove last year that you had rented, my bad.

Not to take anything away from Kauffmans, but I think it would be nice to rent a track for a few days, bring in a portable dyno, and let the guys do what they want. I am sure that would take a lot of doing... . but would be a good weekend. Maybe make it a spring event !

Note : What ever plans you make, please make them soon as people will have to make the necessary reservations / vacation request in order to go.

Dang Dockboy, I think you better start looking for a 12 V motor if you want a 500 HP daily driver that's gonna hold up and be able to last. Not trying to upset ya. I wish you the best. Good luck

Don't worry Lloyd..... I'll still be there with plenty of power ;) :D

I couldn't not come with my truck... ..... Who would you be able to pick on then?? :-laf :D

Andy, are you going to talk to the Hilton Garden Inn in Hershey about room rates??

The beverage consumption in the lobby last year proved to be quite interesting. :D :-laf

Hope to make this one,Guys. Want to get a baseline dyno run on the new rig. Sorry I've missed so many events this year... Doug

Since there were about 54 trucks at the "tune up", how many are going to show for two days of this event?

I plan on being there early on Saturday, get a good spot! :-laf :D

I will be there cooking utensils in hand! Will have my new toy along, ( i doubt the Twin truck will be back together by then) also planing on camping there sat and sun.

Scott @RDP

Scott,

Hopefully, I will be there right along side of ya! The boss doesn't have me on the schedule for any travel that weekend. I'll call you when I get back from Warsaw, Poland in about 2 weeks to order some parts. Time to start BOMBing the new ride. :D
