shhh! Will, thats a secret! coming down this weekend? party at timchaks!

I just listened to the like 23 voice mails on my phone, one was Brandon, I gotta call him back tonight, I am up for somethin Saturday night.

Doug, I don't think I am going to dyno either, we'll see, if I bring dad's truck I may run it. That, or I could just slam those new injectors in and see what they make for an increase, but that seems like a lot of work when in the next week or so I'll have the head off anyway.

Well weather will be good as the weather-guessers claim we should be Sunny and 70-75 Saturday and Partly Cloudy and 60-65 Sunday with no rain. My only problem is they have been telling us for a week now the rain was done,go figure. Rememeber show goes on rain or shine.

We have been asked today by the "Dynamic Motorsports" group to please not block in the garage door as they will be working on their customers cars Saturday. I told them I would pass the word along.

Also, with the recent rash of wet weather please remember the grass will be soft. You will have to now enter the grassy hill from the side street as they have eliminated the small driveway from the bottom stone driveway. They are in the finishing stages of prep work for laying the blacktop now.

Ernie will not be on hand as he is working out of state so Rob will be helping us again. We will need to be as efficent as we were in the summer show to make this go smoothly. I will have the cards to fill out and ask the owners to make sure their trucks are staged and warm when its your turn to go.

I have heard from Zimmy's Automotive who was a vendor last year and will be on hand now as I have just gotten confirmation today from them. Also,Beside Jetpilot I know SP diesel will be in attendence roaming around as will be Nick and Tina from Double S. I would also be willing to bet that the East Coast Diesel crew will be about and Antrim Diesel will be represented. We have never gotten a huge vendor support for displays at the show but I am certain that if asked any one of them above would gladly help with you wants, needs and concerns. As for the giveaways, this show has always been a HP/Tq based show anyway, giveaways were nice but its getting harder and harder to find products to fit trucks in which owners have already have fixed to their liking. Personally,I would much rather be able to drum up support for more trophies/plaques to be able to give the top 5 in each class and/or a cash payout to them also, just food for thought.

Time is near, rumors that some have been out testing this week and laid down a HUGE number in preparation to dethrone Dockboy and the leaf-vac powered truck. So far I have not heard about Jetpilot loosing his traditional head gasket yet either, thats a GREAT sign. See You all there... ... . Andy

I heard the Rhino Rig was at the dyno shop yesterday... ... Look out Dockboy maybe its Rhinoman that is after you :-laf

I have heard from Liberator Performance today and Sean says he will be on hand as a vendor. He is a local shop who travels to alot of the bigger trucks shows East of the Mississippi. Liberator carries add-ons for all brands of diesels and their shop is located in Carlisle,PA... ... ..... Andy

Leave me alone!! I'm making tacos

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Greg. .

You better be souping up the leaf blower for the truck as I have been assured that you will not be the top dog this weekend,LOL.

In my haste I have forgotten that the SP Diesel group will also be a vendor out and about with us this weekend also. Too much on my mind I guess and I forgot, dooooohhhhhhh.

I have heard now that the US Border Patrol was searching for a 5' tall shaven headed Texican down in the Ortanna,PA area. He was last seen trying to steal a set of Bull Hauler stacks of a truck he seen down there. Border Patrol claims his green card was null and void at the airport and he gave them the slip there.

I heard the Rhino Rig was at the dyno shop yesterday

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I heard that also, but, after seeing what he is up against in the unlimited class I was told he knew he couldn't beat Dockboy's Leaf blower truck let alone sniff the exhaust pipe on the "hired gun" Jetpilot truck. Rumors have it that "Rhinoman" was last seen trying to figure out how much it would cost him to become the "hired gun" in that truck since he knows that Jetpilot is not the owner. To go along with that each and everyone of us needs to make sure thay have their snow boots along as I can not remember a year that Doug has had the headgasket last the entire week leading up to the show.

I am going to "try" and be there early as I just got home. See everyone there tommorrow when they arrive... ..... Andy

Well a magnificent day today as the weather showed us some impressive Fall weather with cool air and plenty of sunshine. I was absolutely amazed at the number of trucks which showed up today to enjoy the activities either inside or outside. Well I know we all want to know who laid down the groundwork for the others to shoot for so I will post them by user name,Brand, diesel board and their best respective numbers HP first-Tq second. So here they are for you all to enjoy... ...

Notes,News and Stories... ...

Seems early in the day on their way down the Rhino Rig had a unexpected Lawman visitation problem. It could have been worse from what was told but anytime you donate to the policemans ball instead of your truck its no fun.

Todays Yeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa Award today definately goes to Offshoreracr. After years of trying to sort out this combo and having way to many heartaches while doing so,it was nice to Fred and Jody's hard work pay off in a big way. The 655hp they laid down means they have made the most HP out of any VP44 equipped truck on #2 alone. It also means I am safe and Jody will not hurt me as when they entered the bay I told them better than 600 and she warned me,LOL. To the Hubers and their respective shops who helped them along the way I say congrats on a job well done!!!.

Todays     Award goes to the hired gun Jetpilot. IF his prior truck didn't already give enough owners grey hair the newest ride of his lovely wife will cause owners to begin beating their heads against the wall. I'd say its easily the highest HP drug equipped single charger truck at 832hp and should be the only VP44 equipped truck to ever roll into the 800hp zone. Karen and Doug, along with their respective shops who help them have created a nasty little bottle rocket and a heck of a street sleeper. I am certain that she will be able to tow her horses where ever she wants and however fast she wants. Now IF Doug EVER gets the keys back well sometime... ... ...

It was nice to see Steve(CTD8999) and Doug(DLeonhard) both out with their rides after new powerplants were in order after major problems dropped in on them. They can only get better after they free up some and Dougs new paint was sharp.

The guys who did all the work in the shop deserve a hand with what all they got done. Wannadiesel was adding to his KDP kill total and when not doing that he was seen helping 92 Diesel work on his truck. Jetpilot did a injector install on the Pres's truck, valve adjustment on Kelly4463's and even had time to chauffer the youngest wheelman around the shop for a bit. Cody(Cumminsdieselboy) deserves a HUGE thank you for all the help he was with guys dropping their flex pipes off of the stacks. The dually owners who dropped their outside tires off made the show scoot right along.

Thanks also go out to Liberator Performance,SP Diesel and Zimmie's for their vendor work all day long. Those vendors who were there for the show and ended up helping others out with minor problems also desreve a thank you. Nice to see our resident member Dr. Stackitis(Oasis-3) bring his big rig and trailer if anyone needed hauled home. BTW,guys beware,Dr. Stackitis is already working on a way to change his truck from stacks to lake pipes. The wives will be after him again very soon.

I know there is more but a nap is in order. Today was great and tommorrow will be better I can't wait :D :D ... ... ... . Andy

Hammer, you forgot the "I'm going to be sick" award  . TDR Member, JApol did get his Ram home safely after the accident. Hopefully after putting up some good numbers on the dyno, he'll get his rig back in shape quickly. :D

OK I am going to argue that one. I did 659 on #2 uncorrected in Feb. '05. Those are some pretty impressive numbers none the less. The torque numbers seem a little low on the twinned vp trucks though. Mine usually does well over 1200 ft/lbs on fuel only.

I am not sure but I think maybe the dyno only goes up to 1200. Seems to me jetpilot on his old truck was something like 886 with the gas and 1575 Tq. I am sure he will chime in here and discuss the Tq numbers, as they do seem low, maybe there is a reason.

Doug, is that truck running a VP???

He just put a new vp on prior to the event. So yes, it still has the vp44 under the hood.

We had a great weekend! 9 hour drive, but well worth it, super nice people, the beer was refreshing and the food was fulfilling to say the least. I got to meet up with a few of the MDTDR members and unfotunately missed a few... . maybe next time :D

We are currently on I76 about 1/2 way home! btw, PA is a beautiful state!

Special thanks to DZLDPatriot for being a perfect host!

Git-R-Done,

I was refering to Huff-n-Puff, Offshoreracer, and TiminVA. For 600+hp the torque should be right up near 1200 or even more. Their results say roughly 1050. Doug made more with a single turbo truck on #2 only. That doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Nathan

Idaho,

Everyone seemes to be running larger chargers now days, and torque is dropping. we're talking single charger, you obviously are running twins, dougs black truck was unworldly, u should know better than to compair ANYTHING to that. but i do have to agree with you, i remember fall brwl 04 the rhino rig made about 496 hp, 986 torque, then with no changes other than a wasegate upgrade, ran 508 hp and 894 torque at spring fling 05, i dont know what changed, something does seem off, could be the software cause they all seem to show the same numbers. And Finally after the rhino collection took place... Rhinoman pulled 535. 98 hp and 1090 something torque i believe. not bad for homemade setup on straight diesel, heck with piers twins and drugs, liberator still didnt beat him

Even with bigger chargers it doesn't make sense. I ran 659hp and around 1230ft/lbs uncorrected with a Big Brother as a primary and a Big Brother is a pig to spool on a 24V compared to a B2 or similar. Sure I can see a big single showing lower torque due to slower spool up but all three of the people I mentioned have twins. Doug's trucks aren't untouchable either. If you know Doug there is a reason his trucks dyno well... ... . it's called tuning and a good combo of parts. He!! I made 648hp uncorrected on fuel 2 years ago. My truck sat for all of last year without turbos then I put a BB on it and did 659hp with very little tuning but when you know what to look for it takes a lot less tuning to get close. I guess that is why there are 6 gauges in my truck ;) .

You might be right, it might have to do with the software.
