Who would like an official Chapter near Pittsburgh

Lebanon Valley New York

I've been to this event twice. It's worth a long trip. You won't be dissappointed.

The dyno people know what they are doing. It's not always easy finding dyno shops that know how to dyno diesels.

Kuaffmans is great. Letting you pull your truck in and wrench on it is pretty darn cool.

The one year I was there a fellow was doing KDP fixes for a donation.

Lot's of great door prizes.

If you spend the night you can go out on the town to Mechanicsburg Sat night.

I may make it this year. Just checking out all of the trucks is worth it.

Ill handle the desert situation

Michael...

Now thats a great idea and icon,LOL. Now all we need to do is have Robin change your TDR handle to Michangelo since your so good with paint work and we are ready,LOL.

hmm Greg, I see you have me on your list... ... I never said I was coming

Now how in the world would this show ever be complete without you attempting to figure out where Greg has hidden the leafblower at?.

I may make it this year. Just checking out all of the trucks is worth it

Mike. .

Your as welcome to come and enjoy the days festivities as anyone else is. Just warn me before you smash the loud button on those locomotive trumpets.

Any cost just for showing up ? Im thinking of going and getting some ideas for my 97.

No cost for showing up,HOWEVER,HIDE YOU WALLET!!!!!. Also, steer clear of Jetpilot,Dockboy and LMills as they are all full of some very bad ideas which may at a later date when you open your mail up have your eyes go like this     .

BTW...

I wonder if Texican't will be able to avoid the US Border Patrol Police and be able to slip up here from his new Texas home and IF he does make it will he be seen by MORE than just a couple of club members this time?.

For those asking about camping and motels here are some links to those in the area...

Now I can go on with show stuff... .

Show-N-Shine Participants...

This will be a SATURDAY ONLY event and is sponsored by "Old Chickies Hill Auto Transport". I have chatted with Cliff in depth the last couple of weeks on this and here is how it will be run. Show-N-Shine will be open to all who come, including club officers. While we differ on this subject I do understand why he wants it this way,as all should be able to enjoy the days activities. However,I will not enter mine nor want anyone to vote on it. With me doing this all summer long I'll keep mine out so others can have a chance to win.

Here is what the classes will be for awards. Throphies will be given to Best Dodge... Best Ford... Best Chevy/GMC... Best Work Truck... Ernie & Nancy's Pick(which we will be our best of show picked by them and it could be any make or model). You will need to register with us Saturday before 11am as I will cut the entries off then. We will then after lunch send our judges out with a list of items to look for and at made up by me. I will get Ernie and Nancy to go out around 4pm to make thier choice and when we are finished dynoing we will hand out awards and take photo's. You MUST be in attendence to win as we do want photo's of the winners and their respective rides.

While I do understand that it will be tough for a owner to compete with a older and wiser truck against a newer low milage ride, age will not be a determining factor. I have a few tricks up my sleeve from all my shows I have been in and at which will make age or milage a moot point. So now think hard, clean them up,make them shine and see if you can out think me and score high to win your class.

Greg. .

I'll bring something to hide for the grill again,LOL. Maybe the chief cook and bottle washer won't miss the cooler this time and have me take all that sausage home,LOL.

As for dynoing myself,I doubt it. I don't have enough power to haul myself around let alone spin a dyno wheel and I have a ton more tuning to do before Vegas next year. I'll have a toch more news this week to add and will drop in with it as soon as all the pieces fall into place... ... . Andy

BTW...

I know I didn't mention it but they did when they added themselves but SP Diesel will also be a vendor on hand with us again. Thank you Sean and Brad for announcing your intent on being there.

hey. can you put me down for 2 trucks on the dyno also. me and brother wanna see what our trucks are putting to the ground. thanks.

to bad i cant squeeze a ctd in my dakota show truck, hahaha.

see you all their. thanks for the hotel links.

Mike, agree, it would be nice to see you again.

Scott

I will be there saturday and sunday, and once again i will be bringing the boys from snyder county. No show-n-shine for us but probably expect 6 of us to get on the rollers. We will bring snacks, soda, beer, and anything else you might need. We would also like to know if you are going to have the sled pull on sunday so we can come prepared.

Curt

Alas, I have to miss it this year. I'll be in the Twin Cities for my sister's wedding that weekend, which is right between the Houston finals and the SEMA show; I'll be on the road for three weeks.

N

Yea supposely their was a sled pull last year on sunday, near chambersburg. I think it would be a great idea to have one, seems like we have a lot of interest on here. What do you guys think?

Howdy all,

I would probably be coming on Saturday, however since Curt had to mention the possibility of a sled pull I might come Sunday. I still have to make up for the fiasco at the grange.

Thomas

Thomas,

The grange fair was just rediculious, wait till 1 am to pull, then half way through the class, they just decide to stop pulling and send everyone home. All i have to say is I will never pull at the Grange Fair Again, seeing as their were alot of ****** off people that night.

It will be good to see you guys :D

As for a sled pull... ..... that pull that happened last year on Sun. was a private test pull setup by someone. It had nothing to do with the Club or the Fall Brawl. I have no idea whether it is happening again or who set it up. ;)

Bob ill hook your truck

I may just have to inflict some body damage to you for even the meare thought of that... . No Pulling with the Dakota Mikey..... Grrrrrrrr..... LOL
