There are lots of Hotels at the intersection of Rt 15 and the Turnpike(I-76) in Harrisburg. About 10 min. from Kauffmans.

We need to get the food situation nailed down! For those undecided, some suggestions that Nancy gave were: Veggie platter, Fruit platter, Ring Bologna and cheese (she can cut it at the show). Also, some cheese slices for the cheeseburgers. She thinks we could also use some more side dishes, like Pasta salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, maybe some broccoli salad. She is planning on bringing donuts for breakfast (along with the TastyKakes that Highfinance97 is bringing), and she is also bringing big pans of Macaroni and cheese on both days.

I am going to try and be there about 6am Saturday to help any vendor who shows early. Remember,leave the paint can at home. Myself having just returned from Thornville a bit ago will give you some news,rumors and a story now..... LOL.



Now for some rumors rumors rumors... ...

1-It has been told to me by a little birdy that SOMEONE here has had a homecoming party for a truck that had left the coup a while ago. With a good source I have been assured via email that yes it has happened and will be rebuilt for battle next year. I will offer my congratulations to him about it and maybe he will fess up and tell you all.

2-Pearl Harbor Job #3 is on the way... All I can say is it big,silver,fat fendered and is now drug equipped and will be coming East out of his hiding place.

3-Texican is now Texican't. . Sorry couldn't resist Tex. Sorry you can not make it up but remember rev limiters do work and racing a twins equipped truck breaks parts.



Other news and notes...

I had a chance to speak with Ladell Weaver out at the Charity Pull in Ohio last weekend as he tried in vain to whip his Dodge into submission by seeing how many times he could pull in one night. 4 different classes,4 very good pulls and yet with now win he was very upbeat and happy along with having a great time(even though we were freezing our collective butts off). Ladell will be on hand representing his business,East Coast Diesel and may have one of his pulling rigs on hand and will chat with those interested. He will be leaving a tad early Saturday as there is a pull in Connellsburg and he wants to be there.



Also. .

Those who didn't get to make the EEP Charity show missed a whale of a show. I have the remaining shirts with me and have been asked to help move them. If you are interested see me as they will be priced to be moved.



Time is dwindling and the stories get bigger,as the weekend approaches looks like good weather Saturday with a slight chance for showers Sunday. I need to rest my weary bones and sore knees for the weekend,LOL..... Andy

Sweet, I just booked online there for that price, Regular is $69, AAA discount is $62. Hopefully this will be the only time I will need my AAA card this weekend

As far as I know the Pull in McConnelsburg is on friday starts at 7, three classes: street, hot street, and pro street. There website is www.gsandr.com but thier is very little info on there.

Yup the pulls start at 7! Man we need some TDR members there to pull cause my buddy has been tellin all the diesel place(d-maxs) guys about this pull! Yeah there isnt much info on the website for ya! Be a good end of the year pull and be lots of people there!!!! Id like to see some TDR member there!!!
