Not taking sides here... but, I know my truck spun on the first attempt, I made 233hp and dave let out of it, they tightened the straps down, and my numbers wound up looking a little optimistic to me, not complaining though...

yeh, it is fairly common for them to slip on the first run. I had the same issue during a tuning session. Usually what happens is the truck might not be perfectly square on the dyno drum, they make the first run and the truck slips a little and starightens up, then they just tighten it down and your good to go. :D

Andy my son has Evil Otto doing the holeshot on his camera phone i will see if he can send it to you.

Hey Kel - was a blast indeed. Is "Evil Otto" the burn out with the trailer connect on Sunday? That was insane:-laf.

Still trying to figure out the Vibra Machine - do you recall if the tires were jumping up & down? or more of a side to side motion? I realize it's had to tell @ 60+ mph. But a guy on one of the other sites asked???

Looking forward to Spring Fling - are you going? I'll stop by on the way home one day and chat. Thanks again for you and Shane cleaning - "AND WAXING" the truck for me. ARE THESE GUYS INCREDIBLE OR WHAT!!!!!

Joe yes on the burnout video!!

You tire was jumping up and down. . it was ugly

Your welcome for the wash and wax job, next time let me cut and polish it ..... :-laf :-laf

JOE thanks for the steaks and potatos that night at the campground it was a good time, shane with the sound of my truck that night on RT 15 :-laf :-laf that kid is nuts :p

Kelly. .

I would appreciate it as you have my email address or use the one up where the pics are posted earlier in the thread. BTW,Joe will have to wait his turn in the cut and polish line,he is after me,LOL. My truck is simply disgusting looking and needs a good shine job.

Joe. . On your Rollin Vibrator deal,I am not sure what all you did(then I found your other post,LOL) but the DSS brace and the 3rd gen trac bar kit make a world of difference. No more wandering around at all,GONE!. You asked about the Solid Steel lower control arms and why they do not make the uppers. The lowers are to help eliminate the dreaded death wobble and stabilize the front end,how much they help I can not say yet as I didn't have the wobble at all. I will say this, they give you a firm feel of the road and with the front end leveled it doesn't move at all when driving. I want to add a good steering stabilizer system next and should have that this week. When I emailed Solid Steel about upper arms, they said they are working on them. I have done a ton of work to my truck this summer and I am amazed at how much nicer it really drives. With the motor work, the added addition of new sneakers and wheels and the Solid Steel parts it drives so nice you just get behind the wheel and not get out. Kelly wants me to come down next month to help him with his computer and when I do I'll drop a note and slip by so you can wheel her and see for yourself how nice it drives if you want, then we can get Kelly to wax them both,LOL..... Andy - When you get ready to come around just let Kelly know he'll let me know when and MOST certainly I'd love to see what my truck "should" drive like with a tight front end. I'm thinking I've got the situation with it narrowed down to a balance issue - but will know tonight as I'm swapping tires with another member for a ride to compare his new 285 rubber that all balanced and never put on his truck yet. He'll put my tires on his and we'll compare. I've got Centramatics coming anyday now and the balance beads are coming out if the tire swap yeilds good results. Thanks and talk to you soon if not then at the Fling.

06 Fall brawl ?

Did anyone do a vid or post pics of the fall brawl? There is a few on here but nothing like spring06 show or the 05 fall brawl. I got a few nice pics and vids of the East Coast Diesel truck laying rubber on the road after the cops left.

My father took some pics. I tried sending them to Hammer but ran into trouble.

Maybe I can upload them to a hosting site. Lemme work on that . .
