FALL BRAWL 2010... ... . "Success is how you bounce on the bottom. "

The Mason-Dixon TDC would like to extend our invitation to all who desire to participate in this great end of the year show. This is our annual 2 day dyno competition which hosts some of the finest examples of diesel powered Trucks from all over the country.

The Dates..... Saturday & Sunday October 23rd-24th-Rain Or Shine

The Place... ... SGS Automotive & Performance

901 Range End Road

Dillsburg,PA 17019

(717)502-8880

SGS Automotive

The Cost... ... . $75 for 3 spins with HP/TQ readings.

Remember stack equipped owners we would like you to drop your flex pipes if possible or allow us to some way vent the soot outside. Also we would like the dually owners to drop their outside tires off which allows us to move trucks in and out more efficiently. Tools will be provided by SGS to accomplish this and all we ask is to put them away when finished. The shop is also available for those who have last minute goodies to do or install and all they ask is that you dyno sometime that weekend. We did a great job at the spring show with the extra work and it showed when we were done, which we received many thanks for our professionalism.

Also. .

We will having a covered dish cookout for those attending and we ask that you bring something along to share with the group for the weekends activities. It has been noted that we are having issues with not enough food for the amount of people who do come and we as a club are looking at ideas to change that for this show. So please be advised that there may be a change in the lunch procedure for this show and from now on as a few have ruined it for the others. The lunch update will follow at a later date however if you are planning to come and bring something, please post it so we can add you to the list.

There has been a changed to Fall Brawl for everyone to look over.

At any rate here is what I have gotten arranged and am going to do for this year and also next years 10 year anniversary show. We are going for the very first time instead of trophies have a payout system for all the classes. ALL of the classes will be paid out as follows and the award sponsors will be listed behind each.

1st Place..... $75. 00... . Sponsor-..... DP Tuner
2nd Place... . $50. 00... . Sponsor... ... Mumau Diesel
3rd Place... . $25. 00..... Sponsor..... Zimmie's Automotive

This system will be in place for both this years Fall Brawl and next Year's M-D TTDC 10th Anniversary edition. remember to bring something along for the covered dish cookout. The weather looks good and temps should be cool. I will be a tad late getting there on Saturday due to having to work Friday night. I will see everyone there and am looking forward to a banner weekend... ... ... . Andy

We are also now pleased to announce the addition of Xtreme Diesel Performance as a sponsor for Fall Brawl.

Xtreme Diesel Performance - XDP Diesel Power Performance Parts

They will be providing the top three finishers in each class with a T-Shirt and a bottle of their fuel additive and the LOWEST HP truck will win a $50 gift certificate from them. I would like to thank them for stepping in with some help as we really appreciate it and welcome them to our show... ... ... Andy

This was my first year at the Brawl. I came down with (Rob) 6BT-Dakota on sunday. Had a great time, met awesome people and some killer runs on the rollers. I will be there next year for sure !

That would be it gang.....

The winner of the lowest HP award from Xtreme Diesel Performance is Ed Sobecki.

Well I FINALLY have a few minutes to myself and can post. Its been a busy and trying month of October for me with moving and the Brawl but I can rest a bit now as both are finally finished,phew.....

I would like to thank ALL of the vendors who helped make this years show such a success. When I get to look outside and see a field full of trucks on BOTH days and people enjoying themselves all I can do is smile. Knowing where we have came from with our shows and seeing what they are now amazes me each year we have them. That fact tells me that our 10 year anniversary shows next year should be ones to attend. I have been working hard on a file with dyno numbers from the first show up to now. When you see where we came from HP/Tq wise to this years show you will be amazed. I stumbled across a number from 02 on John_P's "Red Rocket" that had him at 399hp in 02 and the last I seen him dyno it was over 800hp. 600hp out a 7. 3 Ford at one time was so distant and now it even can be crossed easily. The pictures from back then are also kinda neat and all I can say is wow,did I get old. Over the years we as a club have seen many HP plateau's crossed and a few Urban Legend's exposed and killed(THANKS Thuggy!) and yet we want more. Next year should be a blast and hope you all can come out and spend some time with us.

Now if there was one thing I am at a loss to figure out is WHY we have such a problem when it comes to our covered dish cookout. All we ask if for owners to bring something along to share with the others and that way everyone gets to eat and no one goes away hungry. This year had to be the absolute worst I have ever seen as Sunday we were out of food early and many did not get to eat. I am not sure what the answer is but IMO its getting close to thinking about having our meals catered and just selling tickets for dinner instead. I'd hate to see it get to that point but it looks like we are about there. Rant over.

Again,Thanks to all who came and IF you name appears in the final listing as one who has placed(1st-2nd-3rd) and you were NOT present to pick up your award please contact me VIA PM or at the following email address -- email address removed -- and I can get them out to you. IF They are not claimed by Spring Fling the money will be placed in the charity for that event. I have both Lee Glancy and John Hrobuchak's ready to ship to Picaso and Michael will see to it they get to you for me... ... See Ya In The Spring... . Andy
