Competition Hottest EGT for the 1/8 mile ?

Off Roading shocks

I want to take a few minutes to thanks everyone who helped out with Fall Brawl 2004. There are too many people that go into making this a success for me to personally thank you all, but there are a few individuals that go above and beyond!

First off is Andy (AKA Hammer), this show is as big and well run as it is because of him. This year is especially important because normally he and I share eqaully in the work but due to personal reasons at home I was unable to do near the work as in previous years. Andy pulled everything together and more than made up for the work I was not able to do. He deserves a big hand for making everything a success!

Next on the list would be the crew at Kauffmans. This is a first rate outfit that works hard to make the show what it is. Without a facility and crew like them this event just could not happen.

On a personal note I want to thank John, Trevor, and Greg, for helping to wrench on my truck Friday night. I had a little mishap the night before Fall Brawl and managed to blow a headgasket. With the help of these guys we started tearing the truck apart just prior to 9:00 pm and it was back together and running by 1:00am, just 4 hours later! Without their help I would never have been able to compete in the event.

Last but not least I want to thank the vendors and participants that showed up and participated. Each year the event grows and gets better. This year was no exception. We had more vendors on hand to offer items for sale, explain technical info, and just generally show what they have to offer. Also this year we had the largest turnout ever! Everything wasn't completed until around 5:30 pm on Sunday.

Thanks again!

Doug

I do not know what all the numbers where, but a truck from Hagerstown rolled a 789.

Sorry I could only be there for half the day on Sunday. I thought Andy did a great job. That place is a great set up. I had a great time. Oh, even though that truck of mine dynoed a 355, it had no problem doing a 2 to 3 to 4th gear burnout while leaving. :D

That dang guy is on my butt with numbers, I wonder if I can keep up with him... ... he's go a nice combo.

I should be crawling up on the rollers again before too long for another try with a few changes.

Jim

Another Thank you...

I too would like to extend thanks to the great people of Kauffman's Motorsports for hosting the event. Also Andy and Doug did a tremendous job of organizing and running the event.

Lots of greats this weekend: Great hosts, great organizing, great awards, great give aways, great food (thanks to Scott, John and all the others that brought items) and great people to share it all with.

Got a good diesel fix, but already looking forward to the next get together.

Don

Actually there was tire slip... . We reviewed the dyno sheets (you can tell by looking at them) and the tires held tight. He did an awsome job though!

Doug, you mean there "wasn't" any tire slip. Maybe the 800pds i had in the back of the bed by the tailgate helped. Many thanks to everybody, all the TDR guys are a great group of people. Kauffmans did a superb job, and they're a 1st class group of guys too. Man Jim, with that new trick intercooler you have and that "thing" i told you try you could be in the 830's :{ your another year in front of me.
