Hi I got a quick question for everyone out there:

What do I have to remove to get at the KDP and properly tab it with TST's kit?? How do I remove the fan and what about the front seal?? How do I remove and install that, and where should I go for the gasket for the front gear case cover?? Sorry for all the questions but i'm a new 12 valve owner.

Thanks, Travis

Oh by the way my 24 valver in my sig is for sale as soon as I get the 12 valver!! If you want it e-mail me at -- email address removed -- I will be putting an ad on here as well as ebay soon.

TST's instructions are quite good. I followed them pretty closely and had no problems. Yes, you do need to remove the fan, shroud, overflow bottle, and wiper fluid bottle. It is not that difficult to remove the fan and shroud at the same time. I did have to grind a little off a 10mm wrench to get at one of the fan bolts like they said. The front seal is not too bad. I punched the old one out with a flathead screwdriver and putting the new one in wasn't much harder. If you use the clear plastic seal starter they supply you with, it is easy to get it started again too. I was quite pleased with the TST kit. The one change that I made to it was that I got a new time gear cover gasket from cummins rather than using permatex.
