Regarding Bearings, Bearings are Universal, meaning Generic WORLD WIDE. For any bearing copy down the number (they all have a number) also the same for Seals, go to a Bearing House, if not, an Auto Parts store and ask for a new one, if asked what it came off, say you don't know, (may times your reply will dictate cost, ie. front wheel bearing off a Caddy. etc. ). Bearings are catalogued by Numbers as they are often used on many machines not even related to motor vehicles. Fact is, the Bearing or Seal number will give the total pedigree of it's use, RPM, Load Bearing etc, for Seals, Rotating, sliding, etc. Just say it came off a piece of machinery at the Plant and you need to replace it. Bearings in general have a at least 100% mark-up, or All the Traffic Will Bear. In general, if you go to a Bearing House they are for the most part Professionals and proud of their knowledge. If you fail to find any numbers or letters on the Bearing or Seal, take what's left of the Bearing or Seal, that will be a big help to them, and tell them the part it came out of, say if it was a fan they will assess the RPM, Load etc to approximate it's replacement, then judging by their talk, or questions, you can either say it's off an old engine with no visable nameplate, or the actual piece you took it out of. Also a Business Card is a big help, even if it's your own, or one to your own fancy.
