Fan clutch removal.........help!

I know that there was a thread on this very subject but I searched and searched to no avail.



I figure I should instal it now (Fred Swanson got it for me in January when I was in AZ, thanks Fred) before the Texas hot weather catches up with me.



I CAN'T GET THE SUCKER OFF , yes I'm aware it's a left hand thread tried everything I knew how, broke 3 screwdriver in the process, got the special tool at Autozone (free loaner), tried to knock it loose with hammer and & punch... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... HELP ME PLEASE. Any suggestions?

Are you using a chain Vise-Grip to hold the shaft? I was able to remove my factory clutch with no problems.
