Where is the best place to get one from?

they dont sell dorman anymore... . we have returned three... . trying hayden unit on a couple trucks right now... otherwise is oe...

Hayden has a good name but they do do not work as good as o in any of the applications I have tryed

Sounds like they doubled the price for the new updated clutch. Sucks they are the only decent providor in the game.

The box says Genuine Mopar Made in the USA

The clutch itself says Visctronic on it.
A quick Google search says that its made by Borg Warner.

I found them on the internet for around $350. 52028879AF. Genuine Mopar seem to be the only ones that work right and last.

Check this out and see what you think about fitment. Borg Warner / Kysor does list fan clutches for the '03 and '04 trucks.

Pricing is not set up in Freightliner, I have sent in a price request to see if the pricing would be better. Once I get the pricing loaded, and it is decent than you will be able to order one from a Freightliner / Western Star / Sterling Truck Dealer. If the pricing is not any better I will tell you as well.



Will let you know as soon as pricing gets loaded in the system... this can take a day or so where I don't have a unit down situation...
