Does any body know the part number for a mopar fan clutch. It is a 91.5. I dont think i want a off brand one. Any help will be appreciated.

called Cummins they said they don't sale fan clutches. Dealer wants $264 for part number 520 28760. I found the same part number on the internet for $138 but says it won't fit my truck. Will a clutch off a 97 or 98 fit. I had bad luck with a Napa cutch on my other 91.

Ooops my bad i thought you were after the fan hub , any decent parts house should have one Napa Orielys possibly e-bay etc or a good radaitor shop

Last time we bought one for my buddy's 93 from Dodge it changed up to a 2nd gen style and we had to get the fan as well. David

honestly the dodge price doesn't look bad, but maybe a shop can get you a deal. Are you sure that's actually the problem. The tension pully is a much more common failure point and is less expensive.

Its running a little bit warmer on 100 + degree days and it doesn't seem like it moving enuff air across the condenser.because the air conditioner will start to blow warmer air. That is a bad thing in west Texas. It does not run to hot for a auto. I will probably get one from the dealership when I have time.

You sure you just are not expecting too much for a gen 1 cooling system? LOL Have been down this road a lot. Was normal for mine to get a bit warm too when driving in hot weather.

Lol, like 225+ at 75 mph into a 20+ mph headwind with ambient temps around 105. That kind of warm? Brutal with a load in those conditions. :(

Yeah sadly. Last summer I saw 235 going up a 3 mile long 8% grade hill at 98 ambient with 10,000 lbs trailer. Heat in cab on full! The rest of the 7 hour drive home I could not get under 220 on the coolant and I had even slowed to 70 mph. :( Thats why the gen 2 cooling parts swapped this past winter. Didn't want to do that again!

And that was with an upgraded 2x 3/4" core rad! Had to original recored 3 years ago so it was not that old or plugged!

Is part number 520 28760 a direct bolt on to the existing fan on an intercooled first gen?
Having a hard time finding fan # 52028653
