Dodge Grand Caravan / Chrysler Town and Country

2017 F250/350 to copy many RAM features.

2013 Ram V6 gas engine. Block heater is plugged in so coolant is warm but incoming air is cold ( just above freeing), fan comes on because engine is warmer than outside air. run engine for a few minutes and shut off and restart and fan doesn't come on ???? When it is REAL cold out ( -30 ) this doesn't happen. Dealer can't figure it out. Anyone know of a fix?

TIA David

Yup, newer cars/trucks will run the ac compressor when the defroster is turned on.
When the compressor runs the fan will run unless you can turn the compressor off.
Some vehicles let you do this, some don't.
