Fan hub 3'' higher any made????

I need a fan hub that is 3'' higher than stock to put the fan back in the middle of the radiator. I though I read some where that they made one but I can't find any info on it.

i have one,its off a bluebird bus that i took the engine out of to put in an 85 crewcab,do you have a stock one for a dodge pickup?if so,i'll trade you.

If you want to keep the stock fan and clutch then it can be relocated 3 1/2" higher to the four bolt pattern on the head,..... The two upper holes will line up. Then with some measuring you can locate the lower two holes, and drill from the back side. Once drilled through the flange and out the front just grind or drill a recessed flat spot for the bolt head. A Allen head bolt works fine. Three bolts will hold it,... ... The forth one will still be under the pulley if you don't want to mess with it.

Then with a hacksaw cut the side of the flange that interfears with the thermostat housing.



The 1st gen I/C fans can be moved but you can only use the two top bolts and the side has to be trimed.

Cummins makes many differnet fan hub setups. Some can be turned upside down to provide for high mount or low mount fans. They can be mounted on the head or the block. All Cummins fan hubs, except the Dodge, have a conventional 4 bolt mount, usually 8mm on a 50mm bolt circle for "B" engines, for the fan itself instead of the lefthand thread like our trucks have. Some have a "square" mounting pattern others a "flared" pattern. Shadrach

How hard it is to change the bearings in the fan hub ??? The one RDupree has , has the four bolt flange on it I was thinking why not just put the dodge shaft and bearing in it ?????? Has any body done this ??? OR do you think it will work
