For those that have bought your truck in 1 state & registered/tagged it in another state, in which state did you pay sales tax? Which state do you need to be a Farm Bureau member of in order to get the discount? Thanks for the help.
MetalTech;Just bought my 2001 ETH DEE 2 weeks ago,was registered farm bureau in Missouri, bought in Illinois. No problems! They didn't care one iota and took the rebate certificate like cash. As mentioned in the previuos post, you'll pay tax in the state that you live in. Let me know how shopping goes. I really like my truck, glad I got it.
Something tells me that most of you are not farmers #ad
oh well, I just dont want any one to complane if the price of milk or beef gose up at the store because chances are that it went down for the farmer! #ad #ad
Thanks for the info everyone, it will make finding a "good deal" easier. Sagwagon, I was planning to order the end of July, but I'm going out of country here in the next few days, which makes it very difficult to get info about things like this.
Glad to do it. I was going to order also but found one on a lot very close to what I wanted. Figured getting the 2. 9% financing was worth much more in the long run than 1000. rebate and w/the 500. FB discount, well, that was enough to make me 'pull the trigger'so to speak. I think the low financing goes til7/5;FB rebate til 7/31. Good luck!
You're right, not many of us are farmers.
Actually,I live in an apartment in Seattle and registered with WA state farm bureau for the rebate. Bought two trucks with the rebate which saved me a total of $1000.
Don't forget that if you plan on getting the Farm Bureau discount, you must heve been a member for at least 1 month before truck purchase. (At least in Calif. )
