Fass 150??

Are these things supposed to be really loud? I can hear it while the trucks

running & the truck is not quiet.

You can hear mine when it cycles with the truck off... once its on you have to put your ear under the truck.

An update is availible from DPP to quiet the pump down. I'm sure Diesel-Dan will chime in.

I can hear mine while idling sitting inside the cab.

I ran a fass 150 for two years,it was always loud,or i thought it was. I recently installed a fass 200@ 50psi and my truck sounds like it has a jet engine on it.

Depending on when your pump was made, it might not have the noise update implemented. Check out that thread that Bodie linked to. It gives all the info you will need to know to get your pump updated. What’s your SN?

Mine isn't bad. When I'm rolling it isn't noticable. If I'm at idle you can hear it, but it isn't terrible.
