FASS 200GPH installed, any clue how to noise dampen?

Hello,



1st of all , let me say , this fass 200 gph pump with filters puts out 44 psi streight out of the box. Awesome. So now that I have no fuel transfer problems , how can we quiet this baby down?



What ive done so far: I have installed dynomat on 70% of the area around the pump and on the brackets for the pump to mount , mount to frame.



I wonder what I could use to further dampen the sound. I need a product that will absorb sound and a little vibration . If I could get it to be a little bit less noisy It would be great.



I plan to keep it installed b/c it really puts out the fuel to the cp3 and that motor on the pump is massive.



Let me know what you all think about any noise damping products that have worked for you for any reasons. Something with adhesive on one side would be great.

maybe take a rubber mudflap and bolt that between the frame and the bracket? I dunno, maybe try it.



how loud is it? can you hear it on the highway or idling?

Just recently released IIRC... .



I agree with the rubber mudflap... unfortunately, I don't think that will do anything for the whine from the pump itself... that's where mine comes from... short of putting the FASS in a insulated box...

Which pickup tube are you using? The new large one they sell or the factory one?

LARGER fuel line with 1/2 hose and 8 AN fittings

Hmmm... well then the only thing I can think of is the obvious stuff like rubber mounting and the big pickup tube...



I never could get my 150gph pump to quiet down

A little off topic, but can you run that much pressure with rhe CP3... I know it would be the death of a VP 44... and do you need 200GPH... . Criminy, thats a lot of fuel ...
