On your truck with the VP-44..... all you need is the 95 GPH. You can run the 150 without issue... but some trucks are more sensitive to pick-up restrictions depending on fuel quality and such... . but this is rare..... i have been running a 150 GPH for almost 4 years now..... no issues... . but its not needed..... BUT when i got my FASS... . all DPP had was 150 GPH... ... so... ... .
We started out with just the 150 GPH pump. No 95 GPH. We started to run the 95 GPH pump back in late 04 early 05. Rather than discontinue the 150 GPH, we just kept it alive for the people with the 150s already in the field. Didn’t want to make those parts obsolete. You can run the 150 GPH without issues (If you in-tank Pickup is clean and working correctly).
I run the 150 pump... . no worries here & no problems at all. The 150's have more volume, but my brothers 04. 5 has a Fass 95 & he gets higher pressure. We both have 1/2" lines tank to pump.
