fass/airdog 1/2" pickup

Hey folks.



Just got the AirDog running in my truck. I got the pickup perty close to the bottom of the tank, however at just under a 1/4 tank of fuel on the gauge slow stop and go's will drop the fuel pressure to 0 for a few moments. Went and fueled up 16 gallons worth and the pressure issue is corrected.



Maybe there was a mis calculation as to the depth of hte pickup line I would assume... .



If I'm going to tear back into the tank again, I'd like to maybe upgrade this pick up tube. Anyone have any tricks they figured would work better in low tank level situations?



All these pickup tube threads are few years old. Surly someone has to come up with a good idea?

Not much help, but I would either run your pickup, hose I assume you used, all the way to the bottom, even extra hose to where it bends in the middle, or put your bulkhead fitting in the bottom of the tank.

I found a good used Diesel fuel module (canister) and did the Draw Straw. I ran it down to an 1/8 tank the other day and had no problems... .

Jason , that being PVC you could use the same location but put an angle using more fittings towards the center of the tank & extend it with the cuts we did on the 1st one .
