So, I want to run the supply line from the fass, that would should be attached to the CP3 pump, to the intake port on the stock fuel filter instead. My concerns are fuel back flow through stock return, resistance going through stock filter, and which port is the correct one?!!? I would like to keep the added filtration/separation and heating capability. Any comments are appreciated...

I also wanted to run the line coming out of the FASS 95 to the backside of the OEM filter, thus having a third filter in the system and keeping the fuel heater which is built into the OEM filter housing. I wanted to attach the FASS output to the backside of the OEM filter housing. but that's where my old lift pump is mounted.

I believe if you get the FASS without the filters from Geno's they supply an adapter that mounts where the OEM external lift pump was mounted on the 2003-2004. 5's. I talked to Brandon at Geno's about getting the adapter separtely but right now due to a vendor supply situation Genos doesn't offer the adapter separately.

Brandon was going the SEMA and told me to check back later as he may develope another source. ---->That said I went ahead and hooked my FASS 95 direct to the input side of the CP3 as per FASS instructions. I still would like to route it through the OEM filter/heater just because it cleans up the installation a bit. Keeping the heater feature I think may benefit those in cold climates.

:)

My suggestion would be to call Brandon with your request so that he knows several of us are interested in this. 800-755-1715
