Has anybody put A DDRP relocated by the tank on A shorbed 4x4, I have the carter relocated with a vulcan big line kit, the instuctions that came with the DDRP, show it in the stock location and i dont see where this thing will fit where the carter pump is now.

I was thinking the same thing on a long bed, if you say it doesn't fit the stock location, then im confused, because i was gonna buy for stock location.

fass DDRP on shortbed

I think it will fit the stock location, allthough I havent tried, but its gonna be real tight relocated back by the fuel tank

It's a tight fit. Don't forget the DDRP requires a different bracket than the standard relocation bracket. The DDRP bracket is heavier.

I just put DDRP in my truck in the stock location. The only problem I had was getting the fuel line bracket positioned in the right place to attache it to the new pump. You have to take the banjo fitting off the stock fuel line to see what the hell is going on.

yES i BOUGHT A NEW RELOCATE KIT FOR THE DDRP FROM VULAN ,BUT THERE WAS NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE RELOCATION ,AND IF I PUT IT WHERE THE CARTER WAS RELOCATED IT PUTS THE DDRP 1 INCH FROM THE FRONT DRIVESHAFT. I WOULD THINK THIS WOULD BE TO CLOSE.

I also have a DDRP in the stock location. I don't know about putting it by the tank with it being so close. As far as putting it on though, it's a little harder to put on than a carter ( you do have to fill out the warranty information and mail it off).

I mounted mine directly in front of the tank, there is enough room. Sorry I am away from home so i cant take pictures for you.
