Im not getting power back to my FASS system and im a little bit electrical challenged. Just wondering how many fuses could be affecting the problem. The inline fuse at the pump is fine are there any others? Im just having a hard time tracing the wiring back thru the system.

Thanks, Joe

Joe it depends on the vintage of the unit you have . Does it have a relay ? Early ones were powered directly from the ecm, later the ecm triggers the relay, which is wired directly to Battery.

Hi Rip,

Thanks for the reply its an early one and it goes from the ECM to a a tyco VF4-125F11-SO5 relay. It appears to me that the relay has the hot wire coming in from the ECM but i can't get a hot wire exiting. Is it likely that the relay is bad?

If you have verified that you have voltage at the relay coming in from the battery, and nothing going out, and that there is voltage coming from the ECM to fire the relay, it sounds as thou the relay is bad. Unless the ground side of the relay has a bad connection (this is what completes the circuit to fire the relay contacts) and provides power to the pump. I'm a electrician, and wish you were closer to help more. Kind of hard to trouble shot these kind things over the Internet. Hopefully you have a voltage meter to use to check these points.
